BRIEF: A summer party for 200 guests with an Olympic vibe

VENUE: Fulham Palace

EVENT: With Olympic fever rife all over London Cow Events brought ‘A Party to a Palace’ combining games and entertainment..in the title of A One Way Ticket to Carnival. Arriving on a Routemaster bus, guests were greeted by a steel band and Brazilian dancers. On the palace lawns they had the opportunity to trial potential new sports for the Rio Olympics – limbo with Kaniki, hula hooping with Anna Hulagan, Carnival Champagne Drop and Hoopla.
Guests choose to dine with Juan and Pablo’s in their Mexican restaurant or graze at the Street-market style BBQ’s there was something for everyone ranging from Jerk chicken and rice, Brazilian meat balls, Lamb tagine to Burritos. Guests then ‘Carnivalled Up’ in the secret fancy dress parlour, proffering Rio Inspired fare from Feather head dresses and Hawaiian shirts to whistles and glowsticks. Our resident face painter was on hand and in the Great Hall the party really began and under giant Rio Projections, a sing song led by The Gents followed by the amazing Anna Greenwood rocked the guests into the night.
